The Scone Trial is a multicenter randomized controlled trial investigating the efficacy of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy with Instilation (NPWTi) in patients with a postoperative wound infection compared to standard wound care (i.e., NPWT and/or conventional wound care). The primary outcome is time to complete wound healing.
