B-cell depleting therapies are very effective in the treatment of relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). There are no studies directly comparing the efficacy of rituximab and ocrelizumab. There is no consensus whether rituximab is non-inferior to ocrelizumab. This is an important issue, considering the large difference in costs between rituximab and ocrelizumab.
